I am Jamie Jewel, The Owner and The Luxury Destination Curator for “A Travel Snobb”.
I know, I know! it sounds harsh to label yourself as “A SNOB” when it has such a negative connotation.
I, on the other hand… say this with pride! What I stand on is the belief that my particular taste in travel, far surpasses any other travel experience you would have.
Born on the Beautiful Island of Jamaica, I am privy to gorgeous landscapes and glistening beaches. Moving to the States, starting in New York, and now residing in the deep south, my love for travelling truly started when I began exploring outside of my comfort zone. My desire to submerge myself in luxury travel every chance I got, fueled my obsession to seek which island could POSSIBLY compare to my own. This made me start to think about turning my passion into my business.
Starting my career in Hotel Management, I had the pleasure of visiting some of the most luxurious properties that offered nothing less than 5-star accommodations and the elite customer service to match. This gave me the opportunity to explore all the aspects of hospitality that I needed to build a foundation for my brand! As I travelled more, I began planning small group trips for my friends and I, to escape our busy lives. I enjoyed watching those who have never ventured far from home indulge in these lavish getaways I meticulously planned around them.
So, in 2018 I threw myself headfirst into building this brand. I knew that incorporating my passion for travel, with my eye for luxury and detail would give me the edge I needed to curate amazing vacations! I set my sights on the islands, and so far, I have travelled to some of the most exotic places that you can imagine. These days when I travel, I tour the most exclusive resorts and villas around. Indulging in the best restaurants, beaches, and attractions in the area. My aim is to provide exclusivity, luxury and once in a lifetime experiences every time you travel with my company!
